Just days after Samsung adds the a new set of APIs within its stock web browser that will be used for ad blocking. Google says Android’s newest ad blocker has been removed for violating developer guidelines.

The company remove Android’s newest ad blocker from Play Store with little explanation. Brian Kennish, developer at Rocketship Apps, the company behind Adblock Fast shows the little explaination given by Play Store Team below:

Hi Developers at Rocketship Apps,

I reviewed Adblock Fast, com.rocketshipapps.adblockfast, and found that it violates section 4.4 of the Developer Distribution Agreement. This particular app has been disabled as a policy strike.

Just as a reminder, you’ve agreed to follow the Google Play Developer Program Policies and additional enforcement could occur if there are further policy issues with your apps.

If you’ve reviewed the policies and feel this rejection may have been in error, please reach out to our policy support team. One of my colleagues will get back to you within 2 business days.

I appreciate your support of Google Play!

Best,

We here Appreciate the step taken by Google today. Its not Google who will be only beneficiary with removal of these kind of Apps, as many of the websites reported today that Google’s main income is from advertisements that’s the reason behind the removal. Its not Like that its also in the benefit of Bloggers and to even those websites who have reported this news in taunting manner.
